About The Role
At the heart of Wholesale Banking (WB), our Finance Business Advice team supports the core WB products on both sides of the balance sheet: Lending (LS), Transaction Services (TS) and Capital Markets & Advisory (CMA). We act as the financial sparring partner to product management, helping steer performance and shape strategic decisions. In this role, we are responsible for delivering Management Information, and we own and drive the budgeting, forecasting and planning processes for the business.
The Team
As a member of the team, you will play an important role in supporting financial insights and enabling data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with experienced finance professionals and business stakeholders, gaining exposure to a wide range of topics across WB.
Our team operates in a highly dynamic and international environment, collaborating with stakeholders across Finance , Busines s /Front office , Treasury, Risk, Strategy, WB Tech and Operations. This is a great opportunity to learn how finance drives performance in the core of Wholesale Banking.
Your key responsibilities
As business controller within the team, you will
Support the delivery of financial insights and analysis for the WB product areas (LS, TS, CMA)
- Contribute to periodic reporting processes (Actuals, Forecasts, Dynamic Plan) and help ensure data quality and consistency
- Assist in preparing management information and presentations for senior stakeholders, including Performance Dialogues
- Help analyze product performance by identifying key trends, variances and potential improvement areas
- Support the development of business cases and financial analyses for strategic initiatives
- Work with different data sources to help build clear and structured reporting
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance and the business to ensure alignment and understanding of financials
- Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting, processes and tooling (e.g. Power BI dashboards)
- Build your network across WB Finance and the business while learning how to act as a finance business partner

- Affinity with data, reporting and financial processes; experience with Excel is required, Power BI is a plus
