Fullstack Software Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

A fast-growing fintech startup is looking for a highly driven Fullstack Software Engineer to join a small, ambitious team building modern banking infrastructure for global businesses and AI-powered financial operations. You'll have real ownership — taking products from idea to launch and beyond — and work on problems that genuinely matter in a tightly regulated, high-stakes industry.

This is a fully remote role open to candidates in US time zones.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build end-to-end full-stack web features — front-end and back-end — from zero to one and into production.
• Integrate third-party APIs and design robust, reliable state machines.
• Own projects from ideation through launch and ongoing iteration.
• Hold yourself and your teammates accountable to high standards of quality and execution.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must-haves

• Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Python (FastAPI), PostgreSQL, and AWS — these are dealbreakers.
• Strong background building web applications.
• Experience delivering software in fintech or regulated industries.
• 2–9 years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• Solid computer science fundamentals.

Nice-to-haves

• Side projects — you've built something out of ambition, curiosity, or just because you wanted to.
• Educational background from a reputable CS or engineering program.
• Experience at a fintech, crypto, or financial services company (e.g. payments, banking, treasury, cards).
• Preference for candidates without extensive big-tech backgrounds (outside of Amazon).
