Risk Managment Coordinator

South Plains Electric Cooperative is accepting applications for the position of Risk Management Coordinator. This position provides primary support to the Manger of Risk Management and assists with regulatory compliance, insurance, safety, training coordination and related administrative responsibilities that help minimize risk and support employee safety across the cooperative.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accident reports, assessment reports, DOT files, and employee field observation records.
• Create and verify all paperwork in DOT files.
• Support safety handbook updates and distribution to employees.
• Coordinate training file maintenance with Human Resources.
• Assist with CDL medical exam notifications.
• Manage apprenticeship and NLC training records in coordination with division managers.
• Enrolls apprentice linemen in NLC training schools and maintains recordkeeping for all NLC training in coordination with division managers.
• Order Uniforms, office paper goods, cleaning supplies, and snacks for designation locations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in regulatory compliance, insurance or member service preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Excellent Organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to work with a high degree of confidentiality.
• Ability to travel between offices on occasion.
• Able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
