About this role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Head of Professional Services Strategic Sourcing will lead the Professional Services Sourcing Team and manage spend of $3.0B annually with close to 1800+ contracts. Professional services categories managed by this team has expanded with the new Operating Model to include: Consulting & Advisory Services, Audit, Finance & Accounting Services, Tax Services, Legal Services, ITO and BPO Outsourcing Services, Staff Augmentation, and System Integration.
This leader is expected to be a thought leader on sourcing of labor across our enterprise. This leader will be expected to independently lead strategic planning discussions with LOB leaders, and to guide them in the most complex and important supplier negotiations and escalations. This leader must achieve a “seat at the table” with LOB leadership to have line of sight of their budget and functional priorities.
In this role, you will
- Lead multiple teams of Strategic Sourcing professionals to execute sourcing strategies for highly complex line of business specific negotiations to achieve companywide business objectives
- Evaluate, negotiate, and manage the most complex or strategically important supplier and vendor relationships to ensure all align with companywide objectives
- Identify and recommend opportunities for contract negotiations and relationship management
- Develop and direct processes, strategy and program recommendations
- Obtain a thorough functional knowledge of performance measures and information flows
- Lead the team to make strategic decisions, work high risk contract negotiations, contract dispositions and strategic sourcing issue resolution
- Interpret and develop a range of policies and procedures for annual cost saving programs
- Manage a team of category experts that have responsibility for companywide supplier initiatives and line of business specific negotiations
- Evaluate, negotiate and manage the most complex or strategically important supplier and vendor relationships to ensure all align with companywide objectives
- Collaborate with and influence all levels of Sourcing professionals to align business priorities and establish strategic business objectives
- Develop a solid working relationship with assigned line of business customers, suppliers and internal departments
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Sourcing
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of Sourcing experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$185,000.00 - $300,000.00
