About the Role
As a Senior Product Manager - Flights at ixigo, you will work on the end-to-end flights product, driving growth across the booking funnel while ensuring a reliable, trustworthy experience across the customer journey.
You will balance user experience, business growth, and operational efficiency across a high-volume, high-stakes product area.
Responsibilities
- Flights Product Strategy: Define and execute the roadmap for the flights business, balancing growth, conversion, and customer experience priorities across the funnel
- Post-Booking Experience: Own key post-booking journeys including cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds, working with CX teams to identify and resolve recurring customer pain points
- Booking Funnel Optimization: Own and continuously improve the search-to-book funnel, search relevance, seat/meal selection, add-ons — to reduce drop-offs and improve conversion at every step
- Partner Onboarding & Distribution: Lead the onboarding of new airlines, GDS/NDC partners, and supply sources to expand flight inventory. Additionally, own the B2B API distribution charter — onboarding partners who wish to integrate our flight APIs to sell flights on their own platforms, defining API/product requirements, and ensuring smooth technical and commercial integration for these partners
- Continuous Experimentation: Champion A/B testing across search, discounting, and checkout flows to systematically improve conversion and revenue metrics
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the central node between Design, Backend, Frontend, Analytics, and the AI/ML teams. You will translate complex business needs into PRDs and user-centric designs
- Data-Driven Optimization: Define and track North Star metrics such as funnel conversion rate, supply coverage, partner integration TAT, and customer satisfaction, using these insights to guide roadmap decisions
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in Product Management, ideally within a high-growth B2C tech company, OTA, or travel-tech setting. Experience with funnel optimization, marketplace/supply growth, or partner integrations is a strong plus
- Funnel & Growth Mindset: Strong understanding of conversion funnels and the ability to identify and prioritize high-impact optimizations across search, pricing, and checkout
- User-Centric Mindset: An eye for great UX/UI and a solid understanding of the end-to-end travel booking experience, including post-booking needs
- Technical Fluency: Comfortable discussing API/integration structures with backend teams and airline/GDS systems
- Execution Excellence: Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and ship reliable, high-quality features in an agile environment
