About The Role
Job Summary
The Accounting Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing financial data, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, and supporting financial reporting and compliance activities. This role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of financial statements and improving accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and company policies
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
- Support process improvements and system implementations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, controlling, operations)
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Professional Experience
- relevant accounting experience
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP)
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus
- Professional certifications (CRC) is a plus
- Languages
- English: Advanced (preferred)
- Portuguese: Native
- Additional languages are considered a plus
