The role

The Workday Technical Lead position has the responsibility for overseeing the technical aspects of implementing, configuring, and supporting the Workday service offerings within the ROCKWOOL Group organization. This role requires strong expertise in Workday governance framework, configurations, and troubleshooting, along with mentorship skills to guide teams in delivering Workday solutions.

What you will be doing

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Workday Absence module, in addition to Compensation, HCM, Talent (Performance Management), Time Tracking, and Recruiting.
  • Provide technical expertise and support in troubleshooting complex issues related to Workday configuration and functionality.
  • Guide and mentor team members, including Senior Workday Consultants, to ensure successful delivery of Workday solutions.
  • Collaborate with Senior HR business stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Together with our HR Architect, participate in solution architecture discussions and recommend best practices aligned with Workday capabilities to ensure successful Workday project/RFC deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security, privacy, and governance standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to Workday implementations and customizations.
  • Ensure daily operationalsupport meets Service Level agreement (SLAs).
  • Secure design and roadmapsin close cooperation with Group HR-IS and IT Architecture team.
  • Continually update own knowledge thought development opportunities and stay up to date with Workday updates and new features, and guide the Senior HR stakeholders in utilizing these features to enhance business processes.
  • Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team oriented, customer focused attitude within and between departments.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Workday Consultant, with focus on system configuration and change management.
  • Expertise in Absence and least one other Workday domain. We are live with: HCM, Core & Advanced Compensation, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking and Recruiting.
  • Proven experience managing Requestsfor Change (RFCs) and Workday system enhancements.
  • Strong understanding of Workday Business Process Framework (BPF) and security configurations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple RFCs, prioritize effectively, and work under tight deadlines.
  • Workday certifications in relevant modules (preferred but not required).
