Job Description Summary

• Assists the OR unit in a variety of surgical support activities. • Provides sterile and non-sterile supplies in order to meet departmental needs. • Processes instruments by cleaning, sterilizing and assembling instrument trays. • Distributes instrument trays according to scheduled surgical cases.

High school diploma or equivalent..

LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

SKILLS

Manual Dexterity. Annual completion of unit specific/job specific competency requirements as delineated in competency tool.
