Layout Engineering Internship

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Layout Engineering Intern to join our Engineering team in Milan.

During the internship, you will support the development of plant layout solutions for Waste-to-Energy and Renewable Gas projects while working alongside experienced engineers in an international EPC environment. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills and gain hands-on experience in industrial plant engineering.

Your responsibilities

• Support the development of plant layouts and 3D models for Waste-to-Energy and Renewable Gas projects.
• Assist in the preparation, review, and update of layout drawings and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to coordinate design activities.
• Apply accessibility, maintainability, and constructability principles in plant layout design.
• Participate in technical meetings and contribute to international EPC project activities.
•  High school degree in Mechanical, Energy, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of 3D CAD tools and 3D modeling
• Strong interest in industrial plants, mechanical design, and layout engineering.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in Italian and English, with good communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation

• Basic wage component: 1000 EUR/month
• This amount is our minimal offered salary. Compensation is determined based on your level, skills, experience and qualifications.
