Job Description
The Lead Trainer is a key leadership role responsible for developing and overseeing training programs within dōTERRA’s Fulfillment Center. This individual is dedicated to training and coaching the trainers, maintaining and improving standard work instructions, and helping teams implement and track key performance metrics. In addition to providing hands-on support in daily operations, the Lead Trainer drives consistency in training, ensures alignment with company goals, and fosters a high-performance, team-oriented culture. This position works closely with leadership to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement across teams.
** Shift available: 6 am - 2:30 pm Monday to Friday.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the training and development of department trainers across all shifts.
- Standardize, maintain, and improve training materials and work instructions.
- Onboard new trainers and team members; monitor the effectiveness of onboarding processes.
- Conduct regular training audits to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Identify training gaps and implement corrective coaching strategies.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to team trainers and associates.
- Develop, monitor, and analyze team and trainer performance metrics.
- Work with teams to establish and track daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
- Use data to drive improvements in productivity, accuracy, and training effectiveness.
- D ocumenting and maintaining Fulfillment processes, ensuring accuracy, standardization, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve fulfillment processes and implement lean/5S principles.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying and eliminating inefficiencies.
- Serve as a resource and role model for fulfillment best practices.
- Promote a high-performance culture by motivating teams and reinforcing company initiatives.
- Encourage open communication and be a sounding board for associate feedback.
- Recognize high performers and provide growth opportunities.
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of leadership experience.
- Lean/Six Sigma Certification preferred.
- Experience with KPI’s and their many uses, warehouse management systems, and procedures.
- Experience documenting and maintaining Fulfillment processes, ensuring accuracy, standardization, and continuous improvement.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team motivation, conflict resolution, and decision-making.
- Training Experience.
- Operational Knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with various levels of staff and customers (internal and external).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to think creatively, solve problems, and understand complex business dynamics.
