#127110 - Senior Workday Financials Consultant

We are seeking a senior-level Workday Financials Consultant to support ongoing operations, configuration, enhancements, and strategic initiatives within an enterprise Workday environment.

 

This role requires a versatile, hands-on consultant who can work across several Workday Financials domains and shift priorities based on business demand. The consultant will support both production operations and project-based work while partnering with Finance, Accounting, and other business stakeholders.

 

The ideal candidate can operate independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver scalable solutions that support the long-term health of the Workday platform.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Provide hands-on configuration and functional support across multiple Workday Financials domains.
• Support production issues, investigate defects, and deliver timely resolutions.
• Perform ongoing configuration, enhancements, optimization, and process-improvement work.
• Translate business requirements into effective Workday Financials solutions.
• Design solutions that are scalable and aligned with long-term platform health.
• Shift across functional areas based on changing business priorities and workload.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional business stakeholders.
• Help reduce operational backlog and improve responsiveness to business needs.
• Integrate quickly into an experienced, high-performing Workday team.

Must-Have Skills

 

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday Financials experience.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes within Workday.
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise in Workday Financial Accounting.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Expenses.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Business Assets.
• Working experience with Banking and Settlement.
• Experience supporting both production operations and project-based configuration work.
• Experience troubleshooting defects and resolving Workday Financials production issues.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
• Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking capabilities.
• Experience delivering scalable solutions rather than temporary fixes.
• Enterprise experience strongly preferred.

• Experience with Workday Accounting Center.
• Experience with Workday Prism.
• Familiarity with Workday integrations.
• Familiarity with Workday reporting.
• Exposure to Workday Orchestrations or other automation frameworks.
• Experience working within a lean team with broad functional ownership.
• Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong communication skills and experience working directly with business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Workday Procurement or VNDLY, although neither is a core requirement.

• Remote contract open to candidates located in LATAM only.
• Candidate eligibility is limited to approved LATAM sourcing countries.
• Candidates must be available to work during CST/EST-aligned U.S. business hours.
• Full-time engagement at approximately 40 hours per week.
• Expected start is as soon as possible.
• Contract is expected to continue through March 31, 2027.
