Partnership Manager - France
sunday ยท Remote, France
About The Role
๐ About Us
sunday is building the fastest, simplest way to pay in restaurants. With a quick scan of a QR code, diners can pay, tip, and leave in about 10 seconds. We believe great products should feel obvious, not complicated, and we focus relentlessly on keeping things simple while earning trust from restaurants and guests at every interaction. Today, sunday powers payments in thousands of restaurants across the US, UK, and France, helping operators turn tables faster, increase tips, and unlock valuable insights. We push ourselves to go beyond whatโs expected, building with ownership, moving fast, and scaling with ambition as we tackle our biggest growth opportunity in the US.
About the Role
As a Partnerships Manager at sunday, your mission is to grow our indirect distribution channel, by activating, structuring, and developing a portfolio of reseller and referral partners.
To build out our partner ecosystem, we need someone who can organize and energize this network with a genuine field sales mindset.
You'll report to Baptiste Mazurier and work side by side with the other Partnerships Managers. Together, you'll build and scale sunday's indirect distribution model.
Join early, grow fast, and shape the journey!
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your partner portfolio: you'll own a portfolio of 10 to 15 partners (POS resellers, payment terminal maintainers, loyalty partners). You'll run structured onboarding, ongoing training, and day-to-day engagement to maximize their performance.
- Drive revenue through the indirect channel: you'll co-build business plans with your top partners, set clear milestones, and manage execution on a daily basis.
- Activate and train your partners: you'll run enablement sessions, co-create dedicated materials with the marketing team, and launch joint marketing activations with your strategic partners.
- Align internal teams: you'll work closely with Sales and Customer Success to align practices, enrich the pipeline, and share field wins.
- Track partner data: you'll maintain a clean, up-to-date database to monitor your portfolio's performance, and share regular updates internally to build collective knowledge.
๐ About You
Must-haves
- A solid commercial or sales background โ you know how to convince, negotiate, and close. Without this, this role isn't for you.
- A hunter mentality: you don't sit on your portfolio, you go after opportunities, you push, you follow up.
- A strong sense of business and impact: every action you take, you connect to an outcome. You think ROI, not activity.
- An entrepreneurial mindset: you operate in ambiguity, build your own framework, and don't wait to be told what to do.
- Autonomy and strong adaptability: the partner model is still being built, and you'll be one of its architects.
- A genuine appetite for being in the field: regular travel across France is expected. If you're not willing to travel, this role isn't for you.
Nice to haves
- Knowledge of the SaaS, POS, or Foodtech space
- Experience in a high-growth scale-up or startup
The qualities that make the difference
- Full ownership: your partners' problems become your problems
- Contagious energy: you lift people up, never bring them down
- Resilience and agility: you adapt fast, you don't complain, you find solutions
- Collaborative by default: you play as a team, share the wins, and help your colleagues succeed
