We are looking for a Port Support Officer to join our Corporate Services Team to provide essential administrative, financial, and operational support to the day-to-day functioning of the Westport Port.

What Will You Do? | Ka aha koe?

Key responsibilities will include

  • Support Maritime New Zealand compliance activities
  • Coordinate inspections and assist with audit preparation
  • Support health, safety, and environmental reporting requirements
  • Assist with operational planning and scheduling activities

Who Are You? | Ko wai koe?

We are looking for someone with

Essential

  • Minimum 3-5 years administrative experience
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Strong customer service experience and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable

  • Experience within a port, transport, logistics, infrastructure, or maritime environment
  • Knowledge of maritime regulations and industry practices
