We're looking for a Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician who thrives on variety, takes pride in hands-on work, and enjoys solving problems before they become problems.
Reporting to the Head of IT Operation & Security, you'll play a key role in ensuring our offices remain safe, functional, and welcoming environments for our teams. Whether you're troubleshooting a facility issue, coordinating contractors, assembling workspaces, managing shipments, or responding to an urgent maintenance request, you'll be the person people can rely on to make things happen.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with practical judgment, enjoys taking ownership, and genuinely loves fixing, building, and improving things.
In this role you will
- Perform a variety of hands-on maintenance and repair tasks, including carpentry, painting, furniture assembly, fixture installation, and general building upkeep.
- Coordinate /Carr y out preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and basic electrical systems.
- Diagnose facility issues, determine appropriate solutions, and coordinate specialized contractors when required.
- Manage office layouts, workspace reconfigurations, furniture moves, and facility improvement projects.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including international shipments, delivery tracking, and customs documentation as needed.
- Support workplace operations by managing service requests, maintaining equipment inventories and maintenance records, and contributing to site safety and security initiatives.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or a similar hands-on role, ideally in a corporate or commercial environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, basic electrical work, carpentry, and general building systems.
- Proven ability to independently troubleshoot problems, prioritize tasks, and deliver practical solutions.
- Experience managing external vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Strong communication skills in French and functional English, with the physical ability to perform maintenance and material-handling tasks.
- DEP or DEC in Building Maintenance or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience with multi-site operations, access control systems, ticketing or inventory tools, or international logistics is considered an asset.
Dans ce rôle tu devras
- Effectuer diverses tâches manuelles de maintenance et de réparation, notamment en menuiserie, peinture, assemblage de mobilier, installation d’équipements et entretien général des bâtiments;
- Coordonner et/ou réaliser les travaux de maintenance préventive et corrective des systèmes de chauffage, ventilation et climatisation (CVAC), de plomberie, d’éclairage et des installations électriques de base;
- Diagnostiquer les problèmes liés aux installations, déterminer les solutions appropriées et coordonner l’intervention d’entrepreneur·e·s spécialisé·e·s lorsque requis;
- Gérer l’aménagement des bureaux, la reconfiguration des espaces de travail, les déplacements de mobilier ainsi que les projets d’amélioration des installations;
- Coordonner les activités d’expédition et de réception, y compris les envois internationaux, le suivi des livraisons et la préparation de la documentation douanière au besoin;
- Soutenir les opérations du milieu de travail en gérant les demandes de service, en assurant le suivi des inventaires d’équipement et des dossiers de maintenance, et en contribuant aux initiatives de santé, de sécurité et de sûreté des sites.
Ce que nous recherchons

Plus de 5 ans d’expérience en maintenance des installations, exploitation de bâtiments ou dans un rôle similaire, idéalement en environnement corporatif ou commercial;

Bonnes connaissances des systèmes CVAC, de la plomberie, de l’électricité de base, de la menuiserie et de l’entretien général des bâtiments;

Capacité démontrée à diagnostiquer des problèmes, à établir les priorités et à mettre en œuvre des solutions efficaces de façon autonome;

Expérience dans la gestion de fournisseur·euse·s, entrepreneur·e·s et prestataires de services;

Excellentes aptitudes en communication en français et anglais fonctionnel. Capacité physique à effectuer des tâches de maintenance et de manutention;

DEP ou DEC en entretien de bâtiments ou dans un domaine connexe, ou expérience équivalente. Une expérience en environnement multisite, avec les systèmes de contrôle d’accès, les outils de gestion des demandes ou des stocks, ou en logistique internationale constitue un atout.
