About The Role

He aha te tūranga - About the role:  

Support the National Fleet & Field Services Manager to keep our fleet operations running smoothly. You'll coordinate fleet production and decommissioning plans, manage supply chain and logistics, and ensure vehicles, equipment and consumables are available to support efficient day-to-day operations.

  • Coordinate fleet production, vehicle commissioning and decommissioning activities to ensure vehicles are available, compliant and operational.
  • Support fleet lifecycle management, including lease administration, warranties, supplier coordination and vehicle quality assurance.
  • Manage fleet logistics, inventory and equipment distribution, ensuring the timely supply of vehicles, consumables and critical assets.
  • Analyse fleet data and prepare reports to support planning, performance, continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver efficient, cost-effective fleet and field services.

You're an organised problem solver who enjoys keeping things moving. With experience in fleet, logistics, supply chain or asset management, you build strong relationships, think commercially and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • Qualification in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Asset Management or Fleet Management is highly desirable, however, significant relevant industry experience demonstrating equivalent knowledge, skills and capability will be considered
  • Experience in fleet, logistics or asset management, with knowledge of vehicle operations and processes.
  • Strong analytical and commercial capability, with experience in reporting, budgeting, forecasting and using data (including AI-enabled tools) to support decision-making.
  • A proactive, collaborative leader with excellent customer and supplier relationship skills, advanced computer proficiency and a solutions-focused approach.
  • Experience working in a large, complex organisation, with strong planning, project coordination and stakeholder management skills
