About The Role
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant / Specialist Pediatrics to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring high standards of clinical excellence, patient safety, and family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic pediatric medical conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical examinations, and developmental evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide preventive healthcare, including immunization guidance and health education.
- Monitor patient progress and coordinate ongoing care with multidisciplinary teams.
- Manage pediatric emergencies and provide inpatient and outpatient care as required.
- Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Counsel parents and caregivers regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, nutrition, growth, development, and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate medical records and comply with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and clinical best practices.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, continuing medical education, and departmental meetings.
- Contribute to the teaching, mentoring, and supervision of junior medical staff when required.

Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics.
- Valid medical license or eligibility for licensure in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience as a Specialist or Consultant Pediatrician.
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
