Your Impact

  • Establish and execute the end-to-end procurement strategy for the new ANYmal D2 project across both prototype and production phases
  • -
  • Secure critical suppliers and manage complex global sourcing networks across Europe and Asia
  • -
  • Lead high-stakes RFQs, contract negotiations, and cost-optimization initiatives to meet ambitious target costs and timelines
  • -
  • Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate single-source and supply chain risks for high-criticality components
  • -
  • Drive supplier qualification, capacity planning, and onboarding in close alignment with industrialization roadmaps
  • -
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless NPI transition

Your Profile

-

10+ years of hands-on experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management within a complex industrial or hardware environment (robotics, automotive, aerospace, electronics, or industrial automation)

Proven track record of managing procurement activities throughout the entire product lifecycle—from early-stage NPI prototypes to serial production ramp-up

Deep expertise in sourcing custom mechanical, electrical, and complex electromechanical components

Strong mastery of strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier agreements, and long-term commercial terms

Demonstrated ability to build supplier networks and procurement processes from the ground up in fast-growing or dynamic hardware organizations

Experience working effectively with international supplier bases, particularly across Europe and Asia

Collaborative approach with strong experience influencing and partnering with cross-functional Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams

Business fluency in English
