Position Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner provides human resources consultation and support to designated business location(s). They shall use knowledge of human resources functions, including staffing, compensation, benefits and employee relations to provide tactical HR support to line managers and senior leadership.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

Provide direct consultation and support for employee relations & engagement, compliance with policies & procedures, manager & employee development, compensation, benefits and other HR initiatives

Coach leaders through change management and performance management issues, including guidance through performance improvement plans and terminations

Investigate and address all employee relations issues including harassment allegations, work complaints, workplace injuries, leaves of absence, etc

Partner with leadership and all of HR to give and receive feedback on strategies and programs to effectively meet the needs of the business

Schedule and conduct new employee on-boarding orientations; conduct subsequent check-ins with new hires under 90 days to give and receive feedback and ensure their success

Process new-hire paperwork, including I-9 verification; enter data in to HRIS; maintain personnel files related to hiring, leaves, transfers, promotions, and terminations; conduct verifications of employment
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

- Degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred
- -
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources
- -
- HR experience in a mortgage or financial services organization a plus
- -
- HR certification preferred
- -
- Experience working in HRIS system
- -
- Strong business acumen
- -
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- -
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail
- -
- Ability to handle competing priorities and deadlines

- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality

- Professional demeanor and attire

Proficient in Microsoft Office

- Available to travel up to 25%
