What’s the role?

We're looking for a Product Engineer to help build the next generation of AI-powered

commerce experiences. You'll lead the development of customer-facing product capabilities,

transform ideas into production-ready solutions, and collaborate across Product, Design

and Engineering teams to deliver innovative experiences.

This role sits at the intersection of full-stack engineering, product innovation, AI and user

experience, with the opportunity to build solutions that power agentic commerce at global

scale.

What will you be doing?

• Lead the development of product features from concept through production deployment
• Build and enhance full-stack applications supporting AI-powered commerce experiences
• Develop and integrate APIs, services and front-end components that connect AI agents with merchant ecosystems
• Partner with Product, Design, Data and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Design intuitive user experiences that make complex AI capabilities accessible and engaging
• Identify technical risks and remove delivery blockers throughout the product lifecycle
• Communicate technical decisions, trade-offs and implementation progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Continuously improve application performance, reliability, scalability and maintainability
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies in AI, agentic commerce and modern software engineering

• Strong experience building and shipping full-stack products in production environments
• Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks (React or similar) and back-end technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable software architectures
• Comfortable collaborating across Engineering, Product, Design and Business teams
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion for AI, commerce and building products that solve real-world customer problems
• Curious, collaborative and eager to learn in a fast-moving environment

It would also be a plus if you have

• Experience integrating AI agents, MCP servers or agent platforms
• Familiarity with open commerce protocols such as MCP, ACP or UCP
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerized deployments
• Experience working in e-commerce, retail technology or AI-powered search
• Knowledge of modern DevOps and CI/CD practices
