About The Role
At Optiver, our edge comes from exceptional people and finding them starts with our Recruitment teams. Our Recruitment Operations team plays a key role in ensuring the hiring process runs smoothly for candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
We are looking for a highly organized Recruitment Operations Intern to support our team through Campus Recruitment season. Based in Amsterdam, you will be a key point of contact for candidates and recruiters, keeping our busiest season running smoothly while getting hands-on experience in how a world-class recruitment function operates.
This is a 6-month internship for 24–32 hours per week, flexible around your study schedule. The preferred start date is 1 September, with flexibility to begin earlier if you are available.
What you'll do
As a Recruitment Operations Intern, you will be a key player in our Campus Recruitment efforts. You will have real ownership, with the following as your primary responsibilities:

Own the recruitment inbox — manage and respond to candidate inquiries throughout the Campus Recruitment season, ensuring efficient and positive candidate experience.

Own the recruitment support channel — action support requests from our Campus Recruiters, keeping the team unblocked and moving.

Assist with day-to-day coordination using our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse) — reviewing assessments and scheduling interviews on an ad hoc basis.

Drive continuous improvement through leveling up our processes, workflows, documentation, as well as participating in team projects.
Who you are

Currently studying towards, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor's or Master's degree (WO/HBO)

Based in the Netherlands and do not require visa sponsorship

Available for 24–32 hours per week over a 6-month period

Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task

Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Outlook

Able to handle competing priorities and to work effectively in a challenging, fast-paced environment

Proactive problem-solving mentality and an ownership mindset

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Tech savviness (Greenhouse, Confluence, AI proficiency are a plus but not expected)
