IBMC is assisting a client in hiring a vital architectural leader. Our client is a premier real estate and luxury villa development group dedicated to crafting high-end, buildable, and culturally aligned properties across Southeast Asia. Powering innovative spatial design and site execution, they are expanding their elite design footprint across key regional paradise destinations.

We are seeking a highly proactive, detail-oriented, and vision-driven Architect (Real Estate / Villa Development) to lead design projects from initial concept through detailed construction documentation. Based permanently on-site in Lombok, this is a deeply practical and creative design role that blends technical coordination, master planning, and site supervision. Your goal is to develop buildable, fully compliant architectural concepts and ensure their precise implementation on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

• Concept & Design Development: Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and master plans that align seamlessly with project scope, scope objectives, and overarching vision.
• Technical Integration & Support: Collaborate with structural, MEP, and specialized engineers to seamlessly integrate technical systems into buildable design frameworks.
• Drawing Review & Coordination: Review, validate, and manage drawings produced by internal drafters and external consultants to ensure consistency and completeness.
• Compliance & Feasibility: Ensure all designs comply with local building regulations, codes, zoning laws, and practical buildability requirements.
• Site Support & Clarifications: Provide real-time design clarifications during construction and conduct on-site reviews to ensure build implementation matches design intent.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the central architectural liaison between drafters, engineering teams, site managers, and third-party consultants.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Architectural Experience: Proven track record developing architectural designs, taking projects from initial concept through detailed construction and execution documentation.
• Urban Planning: Direct, practical experience in urban planning and site integration is strictly required.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of local building regulations, regional codes, construction techniques, and buildability requirements.
• Software Proficiency: Highly proficient in AutoCAD and related design/drafting software suites.
• Review & Quality Control: Proven ability to review technical drawings, spot errors, and maintain high standards of documentation completeness.
• Communication & Language: Good communication and interpersonal skills in English, both written and spoken, to coordinate effectively across teams.
• Presence & Mobility: Currently based in Lombok or fully open to relocating to a permanent, on-site role in Lombok, Indonesia.

• Prior hands-on experience in high-end villa development, resort design, or boutique hospitality projects.
