Portfolio CEO - Chile

Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure? If so, CIP Terra Technologies is currently looking for a Portfolio CEO to join our team in Santiago, Chile.

Role

The Portfolio CEO is a senior leadership role responsible for the delivery performance, governance, and value creation of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners’ (CIP) infrastructure portfolio in Chile. As a member of CIP Terra Technologies (TT), the dedicated delivery platform for CIP, this position works on behalf of the fund manager to guide delivery across a portfolio spanning development, construction, and operations.

Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to

• Accountable for portfolio performance across scope, schedule, cost, and HSE,
• Lead and priorities multiple projects across lifecycle stages,
• Act as primary interface to Advisory Boards and CIP investment teams,
• Manage value creation (PPA, refinancing, contracting, O&M strategies),
• Manage and allocate shared resources across projects,
• Line management of Terra Technologies personnel in Chile,
• Oversee stakeholder engagement with authorities, lenders, JV partners and contractors,
• Manage risk management, standardization and portfolio synergies.

You

The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in senior leadership roles within large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy, as well as experience operating in investor-backed environments (funds, IPPs, developers, or EPC platforms). We are looking for a person with experience overseeing multiple projects across development, construction, or operations.

• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse asset portfolio and set priorities effectively across multiple holdings,
• Well-developed commercial and financial acumen,
• Extensive governance and board-level communication experience,
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments across public and private sectors,
• Experience working in or managing international environments is preferred.

• Strategic but execution-focused,
• Collaborative and capable of aligning diverse stakeholders,
• Structured and disciplined when making decisions in ambiguous situations.
