Senior Software Engineer, Backend

• Develop and maintain backend services that power Grab's Transport App
• Collaborate with Designers and Product Managers to deliver exceptional user experiences
• Own end-to-end software delivery, from problem definition through production release
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive, actionable feedback to team members
• Support on-call operations and drive initiatives to reduce on-call burden for the team
• Design and implement SDLC agentic workflows to enhance team productivity
• Establish technical standards for software development in the team
• Stay current with latest technologies and industry trends to lead innovation within the team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of software engineering experience, focused on designing and building scalable systems
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language
• Extensive experience with backend systems, including databases, caching, NoSQL, and application servers
