About The Role

You'll practice across emergency medicine, urgent care, and primary care within an international healthcare program supporting scheduled appointments, walk-in care, and emergency presentations for a diverse patient population in Doha, Qatar. Working alongside an interdisciplinary clinical team, you'll manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions while providing emergency stabilization, coordinating specialty referrals, and delivering continuity of care within a collaborative ambulatory setting.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Assignment: International relocation required for the duration of the assignment.

Location: Doha, Qatar

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with urgent, emergent, acute, and chronic conditions across emergency, urgent care, and primary care services.
  • Provide rapid assessment, resuscitation, and stabilization for medical emergencies while coordinating transfers to local hospitals, communicating with receiving medical teams, and ensuring continuity of care when higher levels of care are required.
  • Perform procedures within your credentialed scope, including wound management, splinting, minor office procedures, electrocardiogram (EKG) interpretation, and other emergency or primary care interventions.
  • Coordinate patient care with nurses, specialists, social workers, and external healthcare partners while supporting appropriate referrals, admissions, follow-up care, and clinical documentation.
  • Deliver preventive care, health education, chronic disease management, and routine primary care services for patients across the lifespan, from pediatric through geriatric populations.
  • Support guest medical screening and arrival processing by evaluating individuals with existing medical conditions or medications and coordinating appropriate follow-up care.
  • Participate in after-hours call coverage, emergency preparedness activities, and mass casualty drills while contributing to clinical quality initiatives, staff development, and adherence to evidence-based practice.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an approved medical school recognized by the World Directory of Medical Schools.
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in your country of recruitment.
  • Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of physician experience.
  • Current or ability to obtain American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Ability to obtain a base security clearance.
  • Valid passport required before relocation and maintained throughout the assignment.
  • Ability to relocate to Doha, Qatar for an unaccompanied international assignment.  

Preferred

  • Remote-site healthcare experience preferred.
  • American Heart Association Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
  • DEA registration or equivalent prescribing authority.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
