About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead commercial growth across German-speaking markets. The role combines new business acquisition, strategic account development, technical solution selling, and partner management . You will work closely with customers, engineering teams, product leaders, and external partners to identify opportunities and convert complex technical requirements into long-term commercial relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business growth strategy for the DACH market .
- Build and manage a pipeline of new B2B customers and strategic opportunities.
- Lead the complete sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and contract signature.
- Develop relationships with OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and technology partners.
- Create strategic account plans and monitor progress against revenue targets.
- Translate customer requirements into relevant technical and commercial solutions.
- Coordinate proposals and negotiations with engineering, legal, quality, and supply-chain teams.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- Provide market feedback to product and marketing teams.
- Support long-term customer satisfaction and commercial account growth.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in B2B business development or technical sales .
- Experience selling electronic components, hardware systems, connectivity products, or comparable technical solutions.
- Proven success developing new business in the DACH region.
- Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles and commercial negotiations.
- Strong technical understanding of electronic, embedded, wireless, or connected products.
- Professional fluency in German and English.
- Willingness to travel regularly for customer and partner meetings.
- Availability to work fully on-site in Switzerland.
