OCI cloud engineer

We are looking for an experienced OCI Cloud Engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, networking, security, automation, and cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
• Administer OCI compute, networking, storage, IAM, and security services.
• Implement infrastructure using Terraform or OCI Resource Manager.
• Monitor cloud performance, availability, and cost optimization.
• Perform troubleshooting, patching, backup, and disaster recovery activities.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure cloud environments comply with security and governance standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT Infrastructure/Cloud experience with at least 3 years in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Hands-on experience with OCI Compute, VCN, Load Balancer, Block/Object Storage, IAM, DNS, and Monitoring.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or scripting (Shell/Python).
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Windows administration and networking concepts.
• Experience with cloud security, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices is an advantage.
