Ansible automation engineer

We are seeking an experienced Ansible Automation Engineer with 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience and strong expertise in infrastructure automation using Ansible. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience automating server provisioning, configuration management, application deployment, and operational tasks across Linux and Windows environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows.
• Automate server provisioning, configuration management, patching, and deployment activities.
• Manage Linux and Windows infrastructure through Ansible.
• Integrate Ansible with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Troubleshoot automation failures and optimize existing automation processes.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, Cloud, and Application teams to improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain automation documentation and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT Infrastructure or DevOps experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, including Playbooks, Roles, Inventories, and Ansible Tower/AWX.
• Experience with Linux administration and basic Windows administration.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting, Python, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with VMware, AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, scripting, and automation skills
