We have the latest in automation and technology in the United States, and are looking for a customer-oriented Linen Floor Supervisor.
Why This Role Matters
We are seeking a Linen Floor Supervisor to lead daily production operations at Bluewater Linen . This role is critical to ensuring customer orders are prioritized correctly, employees are positioned where they are most effective, and production goals are met safely and efficiently. As the leader of the production floor, you will support team performance, address issues in real time, and take appropriate corrective action when needed—directly impacting service quality, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
- Perform and oversee all linen floor operations, including sorting, staging, and processing of hospitality linens.
- Supervise daily production floor activities to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
- Assign and reassign employees to workstations as needed to meet production demands and customer deadlines.
- Adjust production priorities and move orders as necessary to meet customer needs and service commitments.
- Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and productivity throughout each shift.
- Train, coach, and support new and existing team members, reinforcing proper procedures and expectations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for floor-related questions, issues, or operational decisions.
- Enforce company policies, safety standards, and production procedures consistently.
- Address performance issues, provide corrective coaching, and issue disciplinary action in accordance with company policy and HR guidance.
- Document incidents, performance concerns, and disciplinary actions accurately and timely.
- Communicate staffing needs, production challenges, and operational updates to management.
- Assist with scheduling coverage during absences, call-offs, or peak production periods.
- Support cross-training initiatives to ensure workforce flexibility.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production floor environment.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Drivers, and other departments to support daily operations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Strong leadership experience in a production or operations environment.
- In-depth understanding of linen or manufacturing workflows.
- Ability to make real-time staffing and production decisions.
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to enforce policies and manage disciplinary actions professionally.
- Ability to train, coach, and develop team members.
- Comfort using basic computer systems and production tracking tools.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry 50+ pounds and move carts throughout the facility.
- Ability to work in warm, humid, noisy environments with moisture and wet floors.
- PPE is required with strict adherence to safety and sanitation protocols.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of linen production, laundry, or manufacturing experience.
- Prior lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Experience handling employee performance or discipline preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on production demands.
