Inside the Role
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Clinical Operations, you will oversee all aspects of operations at one of our smaller health centers . You will serve as an active, hands-on leader ensuring that patient care, education, counseling, and medical services are consistently delivered with an uncompromising focus on excellent customer service
Your Day-to-Day Impact
Lead and develop your team: Direct and coach a staff of 5 to 10 employees, fostering an inclusive, high-morale working environment while holding the team accountable to performance standards.
Drive operational and financial excellence: Seamlessly manage patient and staff schedules, daily cash balancing, inventory, and revenue cycle goals. You will also ensure your center maintains strict compliance with OSHA, Title X, and Medicaid/Medicare regulations.
Champion the patient experience: Act as the health center's customer service subject matter expert by monitoring patient surveys, providing service recovery when needed, and maintaining a positive environment of care.
Build community connections: Collaborate with the Community Outreach and Education team to analyze local demographics, coordinate outreach services, and positively represent Planned Parenthood in your area.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive supervisory or management experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams of 5 to 10 employees and managing day-to-day clinical operations (e.g., patient flow, scheduling, quality assurance, electronic health records).
- Current CPR Certification, a valid motor vehicle operator’s license, and reliable transportation (ability to occasionally travel to other centers is required).
- Preferred: Previous experience working in a clinical support role (such as a Medical Assistant, LPN, RN, or Surgical Tech) or management experience in reproductive health, OB/GYN, or family planning.
