About The Role

As an Asset & Lease Accounting Analyst in a dynamic and international group, you will support the accurate accounting and reporting of fixed assets and lease operations, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and internal policies.

Working closely with different teams across the organization, you will contribute to the execution of key accounting processes, support financial closing activities, and develop your expertise in asset and lease accounting within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of established procedures and internal controls to record asset and lease transactions (acquisitions, modifications, disposals and remeasurements), ensuring compliance with IFRS requirements;
  • Assist Business Units in gathering and processing information related to new lease agreements, contract modifications, early terminations and reassessment events;
  • Support the preparation and analysis of accounts during month-end and year-end close processes;
  • Assist in providing documentation and information to internal stakeholders and external/internal auditors regarding asset and lease accounting matters;
  • Contribute to the maintenance and accuracy of asset and lease accounting records, supporting process improvements and data quality initiatives in collaboration with Finance and IT teams.

Profile

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar;
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in accounting, audit or finance-related roles (experience with asset or lease accounting is a plus);
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards; knowledge of IFRS is valued;
  • Experience with accounting systems and reporting tools; SAP and Excel knowledge is an advantage;
  • English and Portuguese language skills in speaking and writing; additional languages are a plus;
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and sense of responsibility;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams;
  • Analytical mindset, willingness to learn and proactive approach to problem-solving;
  • Ability to manage priorities and adapt to a dynamic international environment.
