Enviromental Services (Housekeeping)

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor

Position Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and comfortable environment throughout Cavalier Healthcare. This position performs environmental cleaning duties in accordance with facility policies and established housekeeping standards to promote the health, safety, and well-being of residents, visitors, and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties with attention to detail to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout assigned areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in all assigned resident care areas and facility spaces.
• Ensure all housekeeping equipment is clean, properly maintained, and in safe working condition at all times.
• Remove trash and soiled linens from assigned areas and safely transport them to designated disposal or collection locations. Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Work collaboratively as a member of the Housekeeping team and assist other departments as needed.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic with a commitment to quality, customer service, and resident satisfaction.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Floor care experience, including stripping and waxing floors, is preferred.
• Maintain reliable attendance and demonstrate flexibility in meeting scheduling and operational needs.

Requirements

• *No housekeeping experience, but is a plus.
