About The Role

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior Talent Partner and trusted advisor to the India Leadership Team, connecting India’s business and talent priorities to Model N’s broader company strategy.
  • Lead and develop the India-based members of the Global Talent team, providing clear day-to-day direction, accountability, coaching, and support.
  • Partner with the Senior Director, Global Talent to establish India priorities and execute Model N’s global Talent strategy and operating model.
  • Advise and coach leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, leadership development, succession, organizational effectiveness, growth, and change.
  • Lead India’s delivery of global talent programs, including performance management, talent reviews, manager enablement, employee engagement, and talent acquisition.
  • Use talent insights and business data to strengthen organizational performance, identify risks, and inform broader Talent priorities.
  • Partner across the global Talent and People organizations to deliver a consistent, scalable, and outstanding employee experience.
  • Maintain close alignment with the Senior Director, Global Talent on priorities, resources, decisions, and emerging organizational needs.

What Success Looks Like

In Your First 90 Days

  • Build strong relationships with the Senior Director, Global Talent, India business leaders, and key global partners.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the business, India talent priorities, and the Global Talent strategy and operating model.
  • Establish effective working rhythms and shared priorities with the Senior Director, Global Talent.
  • Assess the India-based team, current programs, and opportunities to strengthen execution and global alignment.
  • Establish yourself as a collaborative advisor, trusted people leader, and connector between India and the global organization.

Over Your First 6–12 Months

  • Manage and continue to strengthen a high-performing India-based team with clear accountability and strong integration across Global Talent.
  • Strengthen leadership and manager capability across the India organization.
  • Improve talent outcomes through effective delivery of performance management, succession planning, manager enablement, and other global programs.
  • Ensure India talent priorities and practices remain aligned with Model N’s enterprise strategy and global operating model.
  • Bring meaningful India insights and scalable ideas into global Talent discussions.
  • Become a trusted member of the India Leadership Team and a valued partner across the Global Talent organization.

Job Qualification

  • 12+ years of experience in Talent Partner, HR Business Partner, talent acquisition, or broader People leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success managing and developing teams with multiple direct reports.
  • Experience leading or managing recruiting operations as part of an integrated Talent function.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders in a consultative, globally matrixed environment.
  • Experience working for a U.S.-headquartered company or another global organization, including close partnership with U.S.-based leaders.
  • Strong expertise in o rganizational effectiveness, workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, leadership development, and manager enablement.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate enterprise strategies and programs into effective local execution.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to balance India business needs with global standards and enterprise priorities.
  • Experience using talent data and workforce insights to guide business decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of India employment practices and the India talent market.
  • Demonstrated experience using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Gemini) to improve productivity, decision ‑ making, or problem solving in a professional or personal context.
  • Must reside in Hyderabad or commit to relocating within 90 days of employment.

Preferred

  • Experience in SaaS, technology, or another high-growth global organization.
  • Experience supporting India within a globally integrated Talent or People operating model.
  • Experience with Workday and modern HR technologies.
