Job Description
The successful candidate will provide expert surgical care for conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, face, and neck. The role involves performing complex oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, managing facial trauma, corrective jaw surgery, and reconstructive cases while delivering exceptional patient care in accordance with international clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of oral, maxillofacial, and facial conditions requiring surgical intervention.
- Perform advanced oral and maxillofacial procedures, including facial trauma surgery, orthognathic surgery, reconstructive surgery, dental implant surgery, and treatment of oral pathology.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide comprehensive pre-operative, operative, and post-operative patient care.
- Collaborate with dentists, orthodontists, ENT specialists, oncologists, plastic surgeons, and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, and continuous medical education while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Requirements
- American Board Certification, UK CCT, or another recognized Western qualification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-board/CCT experience as a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
- Extensive experience in facial trauma, reconstructive surgery, orthognathic surgery, and dental implant procedures.
- Strong surgical, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
- Commitment to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.
