AI-Assisted Code Analyst (Java

About the Role

We are looking for an AI-Assisted Code Analyst . In this role, you will play a key part in designing, analyzing, and optimizing software solutions by combining modern software engineering practices with AI-powered development tools.

You will review and improve existing applications, reduce technical debt, enhance code quality, and help deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions for Trading Controls applications. Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, you will leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate code analysis, refactoring, documentation, and software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop technical solutions and software components that meet business and technical requirements.
• Analyze, review, and optimize Java and Spring Boot applications to improve code quality, scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Reduce technical debt by implementing best coding practices and quality improvements.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot , Devin , or similar solutions to accelerate code analysis, refactoring, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify performance bottlenecks and propose technical improvements.
• Support backend and frontend development activities following modern engineering standards.
• Contribute to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes.
• Document technical solutions and developments using tools such as JIRA , Confluence , and ALM .
• Collaborate with production support teams when required to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure applications comply with cybersecurity, quality, and development standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Software Developer or Code Analyst.
• Strong experience with:
• Java
• Spring Boot
• JavaScript
• Maven
• Node.js (JADE/Pug)
• HTML
• Oracle Database
• REST APIs and Microservices
• Experience working with:
• Git
• CI/CD pipelines
• DevOps practices
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as:
• GitHub Copilot
• Devin
• Similar AI coding assistants
• Proven experience improving code quality, reducing technical debt, and increasing development efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of application security and code quality tools such as:
• SonarQube
• Fortify
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of Treasury or Financial Services products.
• Ability to understand and translate business analyst requirements into technical solutions.
• Interest in emerging technologies, AI, and modern programming practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience working in multicultural and cross-functional teams.

Languages

• Spanish: C1 minimum (required)
• English: B1 minimum (B2 preferred)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics , or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
