About The Role

As Lalamove continues its rapid expansion, we are looking for an outgoing, energetic, and detail-oriented People Operations Associate to join our functional office in Hong Kong.

Our mission is to make a real impact on the business and deliver exceptional employee experience. Reporting to the People Operation Lead, you will manage a wide array of People Operations initiatives, driving operational excellence across the entire employee lifecycle.

What we seek

  • HR Operations & Data Integrity: Maintain and update all HR systems, records, user guides, and internal policies with high accuracy.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Lead seamless onboarding and offboarding processes in collaboration with the People Partnering team, ensuring a positive, inclusive, and consistent experience.
  • HR Documentation: Draft and issue employment-related letters (e.g., confirmations, promotions, salary adjustments, visa applications, and bank letters).
  • HR Tech & Systems: Support the rollout and optimization of HRIS features, including ongoing vendor coordination. (Experience with HRIS or ATS platforms is a big plus!)
  • Management reporting: compile monthly People metrics and key People highlights for management reporting with objective to highlight key insights for business planning and alignment
  • Culture & Engagement: Create presentations for HR initiatives, culture programs, and L&D workshops. Help organize company events, team-building activities, and annual celebrations.
  • Expatriate & Relocation Support: Assist incoming expat team members with relocation needs, housing support, and visa administration.

What you’ll need

  • Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience is preferred
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related discipline from a top-tier university.
  • Mindset & Drive: A strong desire to build a career in HR, with an adaptable, proactive, and independent working style.
  • Attention to Detail & Discretion: Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with absolute care, grace, and accuracy.
  • Project & Time Management: Strong organizational skills with a track record of prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Interpersonal & Cultural Fit: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse personalities and nationalities.
  • Tech Savvy: Advanced skills in a variety of mainstream productivity tools (Google workplace, Lark, Microsoft 365). Familiarity with HR software is an advantage.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English is required (interviews will be conducted in English).
