What You Will Do
- Responsibilities include all aspects of the automated solution being deployed.
- Mechanical design from concept to model / drawing completion for moderate to high complexity required.
- Ability to work and support projects with minimal supervision.
- Manage small projects with the design, obtaining quotes, make versus buy decisions for fabrication and assembly, while managing budget assigned and adhering to schedule.
- Design automation solutions, specification of robotics PLC's, sensors, thermal management design and temperature monitoring.
- Expected to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair deployed automation solutions, Ability to run the software and make adjustments to recover from errors.
- This opportunity is first shift, off shift support may be required on an as needed basis.

Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Engineering Science, Physics, Math, or related (STEM) major obtained by start date.
- Experience working with robotics
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience using PTC’s CREO 3 D CAD tool.
- Experience troubleshooting complex mechanisms

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
