Your role

As an RTR Accountant within our GBS Finance organization, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes across our global business. You will work closely with stakeholders from various regions, helping maintain the integrity of financial data while driving continuous process improvements.

In your daily work you will be responsible for

  • preparing and processing journal entries, including accruals and provisions
  • performing general ledger reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of financial records
  • executing month-end closing activities in line with established deadlines
  • managing fixed assets transactions, including capitalization, transfers, disposals and depreciation
  • processing payroll accounting and related reconciliations
  • performing FX valuations, reclassifications and other standard RTR processes
  • supporting internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
  • participating in process improvement initiatives and special projects
  • collaborating with business partners and finance teams across the organization to deliver efficient and compliant accounting processes

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in Record-to-Report processes, gain exposure to international finance operations and contribute directly to the quality of Aptiv’s financial reporting.

Your background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are

  • at least 1 year of professional experience in accounting or finance
  • experience in General Ledger accounting is an advantage
  • university degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is preferred
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • English language proficiency
  • strong Excel skills
  • experience with SAP is an asset
  • ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a global team
