What You'll Do
- Perform routine inspections, testing, gauging, and instrument inspections of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Review products and materials during and after manufacturing to verify compliance with company specifications and customer requirements.
- Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, hardness testers, and other inspection tools to verify product dimensions and quality.
- Inspect customer returns and assist with investigations and documentation.
- Document internal nonconforming materials and support corrective action processes.
- Maintain accurate inspection, testing, and quality records.
- Follow established work instructions, quality procedures, and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, hardness testers, and similar inspection instruments.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret measurements and inspection results.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to follow written work instructions and quality procedures.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining inspection records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
