We're looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Insurance Verification Coordinator to help ensure customers understand their coverage and benefits for speech-generating devices and related accessories.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify insurance coverage, benefits, deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance, and benefit limits for customers
- Communicate with insurance providers through online portals, phone calls, and third-party systems to obtain accurate benefit information
- Calculate and communicate estimated out-of-pocket costs to customers
- Document and maintain accurate benefit information within company systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to support timely and accurate processing of benefit verifications
- Resolve benefit verification discrepancies while maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in insurance verification, medical billing, healthcare administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Proficiency with computer systems and data entry applications
- Knowledge of insurance terminology, benefit verification processes, and medical coding preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
