China – Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician (T)

As Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining specific tools on a tape head manufacturing production line. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine preventive maintenance per PM schedule. Conduct routine maintenance checks and services on all production equipment.
• Document routine preventive maintenance on PM checklists, record data if applicable and maintain completed checklist/history in tool maintenance system.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on production machine to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Document routine preventive maintenance and unscheduled failures details on system database
• Provide inputs to Shift Coordinator or Equipment Engineer to improve PM cycle-time, tool availability, quality/workmanship, reduce media scrap and cost of ownership.
• Provide Technical training and certification for junior technician.
• Support Tool Owner and Equipment Engineer for machine conversion/upgrade and improvement projects.
• Collect process data and follow up experiments

REQUIRED

• Certificate / Diploma in Electrical & Electronic / Mechatronic or Equivalent.
• Must be able to three-shift rotating work

·1 year or above working experience in manufacturing plant

PREFERRED

·Able to read, write in English

• Familiarity in MS Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook

·Hold an electrician's license

SKILLS

• Knowledge in Basic Troubleshooting Flow (Electrical & Mechanical)
• Knowledge in Electric / Electronic Component
