Supply Planner

Mission

The P lanner is responsible for managing and developing purchasing strategies across a defined p rincipal portfolio as well as for formalizing a stock policy according to demand forecasts, p rincipal ’s capacities and available stocks in order to maximi z e working capita l efficiency whilst meeting p rincipal needs and supporting “best in class” c ustomer satisfaction. This role interacts with both c ommercial and o perational t eams, working closely with S ales teams , Product Managers and S upply chain A dministrators.

Main Accountabilities

Ensure optimal stock management

• Define procurement strategies according to market dynamics , the Azelis commercial polic ies and product classification and the p rincipals’ expectations/specifications . Interact with the c ommercial t eam to get market insights and improve sales forecasting accuracy.
• Set up master planning based on st ock rotation , sales , customers behavior and maintain data regularly.
• Execute replenishments where needed , maximize stock availability, minimize product cost while reduc ing Net Working Capital. Ensure best balance between margins maximization and DIO optimization. Give p refer ence to internal sourcing through local e ntities.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Administrators and Product Managers to remove blockers slowing down goods receipt.
• Limit obsolete stock s and rationalize impaire d and expired stocks . Coordinate destocking actions.
• Join business reviews and share p lanning results . Follow up on market trends, p rincipals ’ organizations, product range specifications . Track p rincipal s ’ supply consistency , detect opportunities, develop operational relationship.
• P rovide purchase forecasts to Principals when required. Ensure purchase orders alignment with forecasts.
• Reconcile stock deviations and initiate stock counting where needed.
• Create p rincipal accounts with Product Manager and Supply Chain Administrator. Ensure new products setup consistency .
• Master ERP functionalities and IT Systems related to own scope to work efficiently and provide best service to C ustomers and Principals .

Ensure conform ance & contribute to sustainability

• Ensure compliance with all QA and SHE requirements, procedures and working instructions in order to maintain high service standards and quality of Data Management.
• Translate the Group’s Sustainability Strategy into concrete job-related action s .

Contribute to continuous process optimization and excellent teamwork

• Provide regular feedback to supply chain business process owners and ERP k ey u s ers to enable operational excellence, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop expertise in processes and work instructions related to own scope and support development of best practices.
• Provide cover for the Planning team as required .

Experience, Skills & Education

• Proven experience in s upply c hain and s upply p lanning .
• Ent r epreneurial , a nalytical and c ommercial mindset and negotiation skills .
• Passionate about achieving goals/targets, high service level standards.
• Team-player, strong communication skills, good knowledge of English.
• Excellent organizational skills and self-starter , advanced user of various IT tools & ERP systems .
• Understanding of supplier, customer and market dynamics and requirements .
• Ability to adapt to new & changing requirements and a flexible approach to working with pressure.
