Senior Site Architect

About The Role
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Architect to join our Construction Supervision team, supporting the delivery of landmark high-rise residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments. The successful candidate will lead the supervision of architectural works on site, ensuring construction is executed in accordance with the approved design intent, contract documents, project specifications, and applicable authority requirements.
The Senior Architect will provide technical leadership to the architectural supervision team, coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces, resolve complex site issues, and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and project delivery from construction through to handover.
Responsibilities
- Lead the supervision of all architectural works on high-rise construction projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable codes.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of Architects, Inspectors, and other site supervision personnel to ensure consistent quality and technical compliance.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, method statements, Requests for Information (RFIs), and architectural design clarifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship, materials, finishes, façade interfaces, waterproofing, roofing, and architectural installations.
- Provide technical leadership in resolving complex architectural and multidisciplinary coordination issues involving structural, MEP, façade, interiors, and specialist contractors.
- Monitor contractor performance, identify quality risks, and recommend corrective actions to  quality objectives.
- Review and close out non-conformance reports, site observations, technical queries, and defects.
- Witness inspections, testing, and mock-up approvals for architectural systems and finishes.
- Verify completed architectural works for interim payment applications and provide recommendations to the Resident Engineer.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, fire and life safety requirements, accessibility standards, sustainability requirements, and international building codes.
- Lead snagging, practical completion, handover, and defects liability inspections, ensuring all architectural elements are completed to the required standards.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, inspection records, technical reports, and photographic records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
- Minimum 12–15 years of professional experience, including at least 8 years in construction supervision of high-rise villa projects.
