About The Role

Major Job Responsibilities

As a Cart Repair Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the metal carts used to transport our finished products. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our delivery process by keeping carts in optimal condition, thus preventing delays and maintaining the quality of our products during transport.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inspect carts regularly to identify damage or wear that requires repair.
  • Perform repairs on metal carts, including welding, replacing parts, and repainting, to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks on carts to prevent breakdowns and extend their lifespan.
  • Fabricate new parts as needed using metalworking tools.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and tools.
  • Keep detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with the logistics and manufacturing teams to prioritize repair tasks based on operational needs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during repair and maintenance activities.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Proven experience in metalworking, welding, or a similar role involving equipment repair.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and protocols in a manufacturing environment.
