ERP Engineer (Finance & Interface)

About The Role
Purpose: To support and enhance ERP Finance and integration systems to ensure accurate financial transactions, reliable data flow, and efficient business operations. The role partners with Finance, Operations, and IT stakeholders to resolve system issues, improve processes, and support digital transformation initiatives.
Key Area of Responsibilities
- Support and maintain ERP Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Costing, and Cash Management.
- Monitor ERP interfaces, APIs, and integrations to ensure accurate and timely data exchange between systems.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system, transaction, and interface-related issues to minimize business disruption.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities within the ERP system.
- Participate in ERP enhancements, system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
- Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements to increase efficiency, automation, and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with business users, global ERP teams, and external vendors to deliver effective system solutions.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, training materials, and user guides.
- Provide user training and functional support to drive effective system adoption and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to system governance, audit requirements, and company standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ERP support, business applications, finance systems, or related roles.
- Knowledge of ERP Finance processes, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Costing, and Cash Management.
- Experience with ERP integrations, APIs, middleware, or interface support.
- Familiarity with Infor LN, BaaN IV, Infor ION, API, and BOD integration technologies is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, and reconciliation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work across cross-functional and global teams.
- Experience in manufacturing environments and continuous improvement methodologies will be an added advantage.
