About The Role

Responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial control systems and control panels.

Perform electrical and mechanical assembly tasks for industrial control systems.
Build and wire control panels in accordance with electrical schematics, drawings, and company standards.
Interpret wiring diagrams and identify potential errors, inconsistencies, or opportunities for layout improvements.
Communicate schematic issues or required changes to design engineers promptly.

Maintain organization and accountability for all materials ordered for assigned projects.
Identify incomplete or inaccurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and notify the project engineer.
Track component usage and notify engineers when specific parts need to be ordered.
Alert management when stock components or general materials need replenishment.
Complete control panel builds in alignment with project timelines and quality expectations.

Inspect completed panels for accuracy, functionality, and compliance with company and industry standards.
Assist with troubleshooting wiring, component failures, or assembly issues during and after panel construction.
Collaborate with engineers to resolve technical challenges and implement design improvements.

Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, industry standards, and internal quality guidelines.
Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

High school diploma or GED required.
Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Familiarity with industrial electrical components such as PLCs, relays, VFDs, power supplies, and terminal blocks is a plus.
Hands-on experience using standard electrical tools, test equipment, and panel building tools.
Prior experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or panel shop environment is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials or equipment up to 50 lbs as needed.
Ability to stand, bend, and work in various physical positions for extended periods during panel assembly.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing or shop environment with exposure to noise, tools, and machinery.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to communicate clearly with engineers, managers, and team members.
Willingness to learn new skills, tools, and technologies as needed.
