What You Get To Do
We are seeking a Senior Visual Designer to join our creative team, supporting visual storytelling, design systems, and brand consistency across Canopy’s portfolio of brands, including PeopleLoop, Sequoia, Transform, and Semper Virens. In this role, you will concept and execute compelling visual designs, campaign systems, illustrations, and motion graphics that strengthen each brand’s identity while ensuring cohesion across the broader Canopy ecosystem.
This role requires a high level of collaboration with teams across Marketing, UX Design, Product, Web, Communications, and brand stakeholders to translate strategic initiatives into visually cohesive and impactful creative.
An ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong design-systems mindset, a refined visual aesthetic, and deep curiosity about how AI can enhance creative work. You are comfortable using AI tools to accelerate ideation, explore concepts, build workflows, and improve creative output. You know how to lead a project from brief to final delivery, balancing concept development, design quality, and operational rigor across multiple brands.
This role reports directly to the Director of Creative, based in the Mexico City office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop visual design systems, campaign concepts, illustrations, and motion graphics for web experiences, digital campaigns, landing pages, social media assets, email communications, and other brand touchpoints across Canopy brands.
- Lead campaign creative from start to finish, from early concepting and art direction through refinement, production, and final quality control.
- Use AI tools intentionally to support creative exploration, workflow efficiency, content development, and concept iteration.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen and organize brand systems across PeopleLoop, Sequoia, Transform, and Semper Virens, and turn those opportunities into scalable design solutions.
- Maintain and elevate visual consistency across all digital channels and brand expressions while respecting each brand’s distinct identity.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure creative work is aligned to the brief, brand standards, business goals, and project timelines.
- Participate in visual concepting sessions, contributing innovative ideas aligned with campaign strategies and brand guidelines.
- Translate strategic and conceptual thinking into polished, high-quality design executions.
- Help establish effective workflows, shared brand kits, templates, documentation, and operating processes that improve team efficiency and consistency across the Canopy ecosystem.
- Provide quality control, fine-tuning, and design support across projects to help ensure the team is operating with clarity and excellence.
- Collaborate with other designers and web partners to produce compelling branded digital experiences.
- Stay current on design trends, AI tools, and best practices in branding, digital, and interactive media.
- Support branded collateral and collateral systems, including one-pagers, whitepapers, presentations, storyboards, and other marketing assets.
- Attend team meetings and calls and be an effective contributor to team initiatives.
- Effectively plan and communicate regarding deadlines, bandwidth, project requirements, and handoffs to facilitate collaboration within the broader marketing team.
- Commit to sustaining company values and key organizational goals.
What You Bring
- 7+ years of experience in visual design, branding, and digital marketing design, preferably within B2B brands or companies. Experience on both the agency and business side is highly desirable.
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual thinking, art direction, design systems thinking, and polished execution across multiple formats and channels.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools in the creative process, with examples of workflows, experimentation, or outputs that show real-world application and impact.
- Strong ability to think strategically about brand systems and identify areas of opportunity across a multi-brand environment.
- Proven ability to lead campaigns and creative projects from concept to completion, with strong judgment around quality, consistency, and refinement.
- Excellent typographic and layout skills.
- Examples of how you incorporate illustrations, patterns, iconography, vector art elements, and other visual devices into flexible systems.
- Fluency in both print and digital design.
- Ability to articulate the strategy behind your design approach and explain creative decisions clearly.

- Nice to have: motion design experience, event/environmental design experience, illustration experience, and experience building AI-assisted creative workflows or design systems.
