Job Description

Ultrasound Technologist - Breast

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Hours: 4/10 hour shifts, Tuesday - Friday (between 7:30am-6:00pm), RDO Monday

Organization: New York Imaging (NYI)

Key Responsibilities

Perform breast exams (screening, diagnostic, and procedures)
Prepare preliminary impressions and communicate findings to radiologists/cardiologists
Ensure proper equipment maintenance and documentation
Follow all radiology protocols and prioritize emergent cases
Assist physicians with procedures and biopsies
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (or equivalent)
RDMS Breast required
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum 2+ years of experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
