Position Summary

Working under the supervision of the Buyback Lead , the Public Receiving Spotter performs duties to safely direct commercial and public customers for dumping on the Public (Z-Wall) tip floor.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets customers and helps direct them to appropriate areas for proper disposal
• Monitor customers while dumping to ensure compliance with company disposal procedures
• Responsible for identifying and removing CRT’s and E-Waste, disposing in proper containers, and ensuring that all E-Waste is logged and labeled properly
• Responsible for keeping area free of Household Hazardous Waste, and prevent all types of illegal dumping
• Responsible for housekeeping on upper and lower areas of Z-Wall, as well as debris found along road to Z- Wall; removing glass and debris by toting a 50-gallon, wheeled bin, sweeping near and around the 50-yard metal containers and curbs
• Must adhere to and follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Other work-related duties as assigned
