  • North West Rubber is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our growing Marketing team and support
  • the success of our three business divisions.
  • Founded in 1968, North West Rubber is a global leader in recycled rubber flooring and matting solutions.
  • With products sold in more than 50 countries, we serve a diverse range of industries including agriculture,
  • equine, beef and dairy, sports and recreation, playgrounds, industrial, truck and trailer, home fitness, and
  • commercial flooring.
  • Today, North West Rubber is one of the world's largest rubber mat manufacturers, operating six
  • manufacturing facilities across Canada (British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec), the United States (Texas),
  • and China.
  • Reporting to the Channel Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist will play a key role in planning,
  • executing, and coordinating marketing initiatives that support product launches, brand growth, customer
  • engagement, and lead generation across our business divisions.

Description

  • Trade Show Management - In collaboration with the Marketing and Sales teams, lead the planning and
  • execution of trade shows. Responsibilities include exhibitor registration, budgeting, invoice coding and
  • tracking, staff planning, show objectives, booth design and displays, product samples, literature,
  • promotional items, logistics, lead tracking, and post-show reporting.
  • Marketing Budget & Administration - Support the planning and tracking of marketing budgets, process
  • invoices and expense coding, monitor spend against budgets, and assist with monthly reporting.
  • Social Media & Email Marketing - Own the social media content calendar and execution across multiple
  • brands and platforms. Plan, create, publish, and optimize content while tracking performance and
  • analytics. Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns to drive engagement
  • and business objectives.
  • Campaign Development & Optimization - Support the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated
  • marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, lead generation initiatives, product launches, and
  • promotional activities.
  • Sales Enablement & Marketing Collateral - Develop and maintain sales collateral, case studies, customer
  • testimonials, point-of-sale displays, and other marketing assets that support sales and customer
  • engagement.
  • Digital & Website Management - Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to maintain and
  • update website content, support new website initiatives, and ensure digital assets remain current.
  • Competitive Intelligence & Market Research - Conduct competitive benchmarking, pricing analysis,
  • category research, and market insights to support strategic decision-making and product marketing
  • initiatives.
  • Samples & Marketing Assets - Coordinate product sample concepts, production, inventory, and
  • distribution, along with printed literature and other marketing materials for customers, distributors, and
  • the sales team.
  • Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) - Support the planning and communication of NWR's ESG
  • initiatives through social media, presentations, community partnerships, and other marketing activities.
  • Other Reporting & Administrative Support - Provide reporting, project coordination, and administrative
  • support to the Marketing team as required.

Core Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, product marketing, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals and go-to-market strategies.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional planning, follow-through, and execution skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Passion for marketing, innovation, and creating meaningful brand experiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) is an asset.
  • Experience with Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or other social media management platforms is an asset.
