About The Role
To be fully conversant with the Maritime Labour Convention, and in particular the “Seafarer Recruitment and Placement” section to which must be adhered too and followed at all times • Maintain complete familiarity with the company’s recruitment process, and documentation requirements. • Regularly update and manage the Company Recruitment Database with information of all contacted seafarers and follow-ups. • Coordinate and assign appropriate screening assessments and technical interviews for shortlisted candidates, ensuring efficient selection and onboarding processes. • Coordinate the scheduling of in-house training programs for selected candidates • Verify the authenticity and validity of all certificates, CDCs, and Certificates of Competency (COCs) for all new joiners. • Undertake additional administrative or office-related duties as may be assigned by the Manager, in line with company policies and procedures.
